Dear moped community,
Spring is here. The first warm rays of sunshine hit the cold asphalt – and in many garages, engines start to roar again.
Time to get your moped out of the corner. Dust off the winter grime. Fill up the tank. And bring the engine back to life.
Because you all know that moment: the first start after the winter break. The engine vibrates in the handlebars, the two-stroke sound fills the air – and suddenly it's back: that pure joy of life.
35 km/h can mean a lot. Winding roads through the mountains. Roads along lakes. The wind in your face and the feeling that the journey is more important than the destination. It is moments like these that inspire us to get back on our bikes and discover new paths.
But riding a moped is more than just being on the road.
It's the evenings spent in the garage. Tinkering with friends. Oil on your hands. Laughter, stories and sometimes a minor breakdown that later becomes your fondest memory. That's where the essence of this scene lies: a genuine community.
And sometimes it takes a little courage. The courage to turn on the ignition, drive off and go your own way. To discover new roads, even if you don't yet know where they lead. To try things out, tinker, learn – and simply be on the move.
It is precisely this courage that has always characterised the moped scene.
And that's exactly what mofakult stands for.
Not just for spare parts – but for people, for passion and for a scene that has retained its authenticity. For oil-smeared hands, honest encounters and mopeds with character.
So: fill up your tank. Put on your helmet. Start your engine. The roads are waiting.
Here's to a strong 2026 season.

Two-stroke knows no boundaries
Our Mission Rides take us across the continent – from small country roads to unfamiliar garages. Always with two-stroke fuel in the tank and a healthy dose of adventure.
We already have several stages behind us. The last one took us all the way to Bulgaria.
Roads, breakdowns, encounters and stories from the workshop of freedom – you can find it all in the travel report.
Find out more about our latest trip and why we had to redefine boundaries once again.
