Replacement piston for the fan-cooled 41 mm cylinder with a 10 mm piston pin and 2 pieces of 1.5 mm rectangular piston rings with flank locking (FS), compatible with Puch X30 Velux mopeds.
You can find the detailed dimensions of the piston, as shown in the technical drawing, in the product details. You can also find information about common piston rings, their end faces, and retaining types in the legend accompanying the images.
This special piston features a molybdenum coating. When combined with oil, this provides high-quality wear protection with excellent sliding properties. The piston is more durable and offers a slight performance boost compared to an original Meteor piston.
Note: We recommend a clearance of 0.06–0.07 mm for these pistons; the cylinder should therefore be honed to 41.03 mm.
The piston kit includes piston pins, piston clips, and piston rings.
Note: Please observe the installation direction during assembly. The piston is installed with the arrow pointing toward the exhaust port on the exhaust side.
