Complete torque converter unit, equipped with Ø 100 mm torque converter pulleys, torque converter bell housing (to choose from) and NewFren starter linings, suitable for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo and Boxer moped / moped with variomatic transmission.
Also suitable for your Super Bravo with variator; mostly found on the popular kick-starter models.
High-quality radial shaft seals, correctly installed shim plates, lubricated needle bearings and a precisely fitting bearing bush characterize this torque converter clutch.
In the selection window, you have the choice between a CIF, Malossi or Polini torque converter clutch.
Notes:
For installation on a Piaggio Ciao, the pulleys must be turned down to approx. 96 mm or the frame must be ground out a little.
The required belt length in combination with a racing vario is 950 mm (rear engine position) to 975 mm (front engine position) for the Ciao. For Piaggio Si models from 1134 mm to 1150 mm.
The installed counter-pressure spring corresponds to the original in terms of spring force. For a higher starting speed, you can replace this with a higher version as required. When fitting, make sure that the spring tab does not protrude too far into the pulley and could damage the belt.
The starter belts are not yet fitted in the torque converter bell housing in this set. The components are supplied in individual parts.
