The 38 mm tuning cylinder has a large intake and exhaust as well as optimized timing. In combination with a 15 mm carburettor, this allows significantly more power to be achieved than with the original cylinder.
Compared to other products on the market, the sealing surface in the exhaust area has been enlarged and refreshed. This also makes it possible to fit a 28 mm exhaust manifold, which again significantly increases performance.
Otherwise, the racing cylinder can hardly be distinguished from the original. The cast-in «CH12» and the original-style cooling fins ensure an unobtrusive appearance and provide reliable protection from prying eyes, especially from the race organizers.
In addition to the cylinder, the scope of delivery also includes the complete piston kit, all gaskets, the stud bolts and detailed assembly instructions. If you would like to have the complete set, select this in the selection field to also receive the matching cylinder head.
Note:
This racing kit should be run with at least a 22 mm exhaust (2-bend) or 22 mm manifold so that the exhaust gases can also be transported away and no heat build-up occurs.
If you want to get the most out of the cylinder kit, you should opt for the set with «Vertex» pistons, which you can find in the accessories section along with other suitable components for your tuning project and cylinders with different displacements.
